Signing up for the September/October LSAT
By Blueprint LSAT Preparation

blueprint lsat prepSo you’re planning on taking the September/October LSAT. Congratulations. We at Blueprint Test Prep are proud of you. You’re about to do more work than you’ve ever done before. Sad, we know, but the LSAT is an insanely hard test, and you need to prepare. Blueprint recommends many weeks of time to do this, at the absolute least. It’s going to be a memorable experience. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll have dreams about clowns getting out of cars, one at a time, in a predetermined order. That’s the magic of the LSAT, and if you’re like us nerds at Blueprint Test Prep, you might even come to love this little exam. Well, maybe not. But there’s no way out of taking it, so you may as well try.

But before you start studying, you’ll actually have to sign up for the LSAT. This might sound obvious, but many people neglect to do so right away. In our classes at Blueprint Test Prep, we tell students to sign up for the test on the very first day of the course, if they haven’t already. Why? First of all, test centers are filling up faster than ever before. These days, more and more people are taking the LSAT, so you have to grab a seat early. In some heavily saturated markets, such as New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area, centers can fill up three months or more in advance. In our test prep courses in these cities, we at Blueprint have noticed the increasing difficulty that our students are having in securing a convenient testing center. If you’re taking the September/October LSAT, this has special significance because the autumn test is the most popular administration of the LSAT. So we at Blueprint Test Prep urge you to sign up well in advance if you’re even thinking about taking the test.

You do not have to be certain. You can pull out three weeks before your testing date and maintain a clean record. If you decide you’re not ready for the September/October test, don’t take it. However, if you decide you’re ready a few weeks before the test but haven’t signed up, there might not be any available seats. Take Blueprint Test Prep’s advice and err on the side of caution.

The fact that you’ve read this far shows you’re at least considering October/September, so hopefully we at Blueprint Test Prep have convinced you. Ready? Head on over to LSAC.org with a credit card. Sing up for an account, plop down $136 (we know, it sucks, but it’s an investment), and you’re good to go. Now just to start the preparation for the test (we at Blueprint can help). Before you know it, you’ll have a great score and be on the road to law school. But your first step is signing up.
